Mocktail Roadshows

Anthony & CathrineHealth@Work have been visiting businesses across Liverpool with our Mocktail Bar to help promote sensible drinking among professionals and businesses as part of our Clarity Alcohol Campaign.

The aim of the roadshows are to create awareness to employers and employees that there are enjoyable alternatives to alcohol when socialising during working hours. By offering the Mocktails we hope to encourage people to drink more responsibly while still enjoying what they drink.

The Mocktail Bar offers a choice of three Mocktails:

  • Culture Vulture – inspired by Liverpool Capital of Culture 2008
  • Apple Bliss – created by Room, Castle Street, Liverpool
  • Albert Shock – inspired by Liverpool’s Albert Dock

One of which was created by mixologists at Room, Castle Street. Kirsty McDowall of Room said “We are backing the campaign as we think that being alcohol aware is something which should be of prime importance. We are delighted to get behind a scheme that has the interests and health of local people at heart”

Another company backing the campaign is electrical brand ‘Kenwood’. During the Mocktail roadshows at the larger organisations we have been running a competition to win a top of the range smoothie maker so employees can  try and make their own Mocktails at home.

If you are interested in the Mocktail bar visiting your company please contact Keith Gorman on 0151 236 6608 alternatively email info@healthatworkcentre.org.uk
